Hesperia Christian Tournament (Conclusion)

The Lady Eagles fell to 2-3 on the season after a tough loss to Apple Valley Christian in game 2 of the Hesperia Christian Tournament.

Louiana Salazar led the Eagles in scoring (15), steals (3), and free throws (6). Katie Bevan came off the bench to score 12 points in only 15 minutes of play to go along with her 5 rebounds.

Kory Washington led the team in rebounds yet again, grabbing 9 boards in the game and also scored 5 points along the way.

Sarah Humphrey scored 4 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and also blocked 1 shot.

Courtney Sillings had 1 block and scored 3 points in the game, making a buzzer-beating 3-pointer as the shot clock expired in the first half.

Jeni Arreola and Cheltzie Brumett each scored 2 points. Brumett also grabbed 3 rebounds throughout the game.

In Game 2 of the tournament the Eagles (2-4) lost to Hesperia Christian by a score of 45-19. The Lady Eagles could not find their rhythm in the second half, as they only scored 2 points total in the 4th quarter.

Katie Bevan led the team in scoring on the night where she was 2-9 from the field, with 5 points to go with her 3 rebounds and 1 steal.

Renee D'Espyne and Courtney Sillings each had 4 points, with D'Espyne going 2-9 from the field and Sillings going 0-5. Sillings scored all 4 points on free throw attempts, where she was 4-4. D'Espyne also grabbed 3 rebounds.

Kory Washington led the team in rebounds on the day with 7, and also managed to go 1-4 from the field with 2 points.

Louiana Salazar scored 2 points (0-4) with both coming off of free throws early in the game.

Sarah Humphrey (2-6) scored 4 points and grabbed 2 rebounds for the Lady Eagles.

Cheltzie Brumett scored 2 points and also had 2 steals on the day.

Alex Rueger and Shay Long each had 2 rebounds in the game.
