Citrus Valley handed our Lady Eagles their first loss of the season in the Victor Valley Christian Tournament. The Eagles jumped out to an early 8-4 lead, but then momentum shifted in favor of Citrus Valley. The Eagles had a pretty good game offensively, with Sarah Humphrey and Louiana Salazar leading the Lady Eagles with 11 points each. Louiana also led the team in assists with 2, steals with 4, and blocked shots with 3.
Katie Bevan and Kory Washington led the team in rebounds, each grabbing 6 boards.
Courtney Sillings and Sarah Humphrey were both 1-2 from the free throw line.
Due largely in part to a quick second quarter start, the Eagles lost the lead and would go on to eventually lose the game by a score of 37-58

Notes: This was the Excelsior Lady Eagles first game of the season (0-1). Loui Salazar currently leads the team in points (Tied with Sarah Humphrey), blocks, steals, assists, and 3 pointers. Every single member of the team saw significant playing time throughout the course of the game. The Eagles will take on Riverside Prep at Victor Valley Christian at 6:00pm on Friday, December 3rd.
